Signing of the Contracts under the “Hellenic Plan for Economical Reconstruction of the Balkans-HiPERB”

An official ceremony for the signing of the Contracts under the “Hellenic Plan for Economical Reconstruction of the Balkans-HiPERB” took place on 15th of November 2010 in the Press conference Hall of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.

The ceremony was attended by Her Excellency Danai-Magdalini Kumanaku – Ambassador of the Republic of Greece in Bulgaria as well as representatives of the final beneficiaries from the towns of Smolyan and Kurdjali and the Contractors.

On behalf of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works the Contracts were signed by Mrs. Lilyana Pavlova, Deputy-Minister of Regional Development and Public Works.

The Contracts were signed after the successful completion of the international open tender procedures held by the “European infrastructure projects” Directorate within MRDPW under the conditions of the Practical Guide for contract procedures for EC external actions, for the following Lots:

Lot 1: “Establishment of “One-Day-Surgery” Unit in the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Atanas Dafovski” – town of Kardzhali”:
- Consortium “PSP – Vehrus”, Bulgaria – Contractor for “Establishment of “One-Day-Surgery” Unit in the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Atanas Dafovski” – Kardzhali.
- Consortium “ECOINGINERING”,Bulgaria – Project Management and Construction Supervision for “Establishment of “One-Day-Surgery” Unit in the Multi-profile Hospital for Active Treatment “Dr. Atanas Dafovski” – Kardzhali.

Lot 2: “Project Management and Construction Supervision for Establishment of Cancer Medical Centre – Smolyan”:
- Consortium “GAMA Supervision”, Bulgaria - Project Management and Construction Supervision for “Establishment of Cancer Medical Centre” – Smolyan.

The Contracts are signed under the “Hellenic Plan for Economical Reconstruction of the Balkans-HiPERB” and are financed from the budgets of the Republic of Greece and the Republic of Bulgaria.
