782 Residential Buildings Have Already Been Renovated under the National Energy Efficiency Programme

As of 18.10.2017 in total 782 multi-family residential buildings throughout the country have already been fully renovated and commissioned after they were modernized under the National Energy Efficiency Programme. 93 840 persons residing in them were favored by the improved residential infrastructure.

The implementation of the Programme continues. Construction and assembly works on another 612 buildings are in a process of execution. The realization of measures for improvement of the energy efficiency on another 628 is forthcoming.

In total 2022 multi-family residential buildings were approved for renovation and are with concluded contracts for target financing under the National Energy Efficiency Programme. Most of them are located in the region of Burgas - 236, and 75 of them were already renovated and commissioned and construction and assembly activities started up on 132 of them. The buildings, which were approved for sanitization in the region of Blagoevgrad, add up to 189 in number, of which 117 are with implemented activities. The third in number of concluded contracts is the region of Haskovo with a total of 180 contracts and 86 already fully renovated blocks.
