Deputy-Minister Liliana Pavlova participated in the Information Day associated with the “Regional Development” Operational Program (RDOP)

Deputy-Minister of Regional Development and Public Works and Head of the Managing Authority of the “Regional Development” Operational Program (RDOP) Liliana Pavlova participated in the Information Day associated with the Program in Bourgas today.

Deputy-Minister Pavlova’s visit is on the occasion of the launching of two schemes of granting of gratuitous financial aid under the RDOP 2007 – 2013: “Support for the integration and stable development through the improvement of city environment” and “Support for the ensuring of appropriate and profitable infrastructure of the universities in the city agglomerations”.

Deputy-Minister Pavlova presented in detail the requirement and possibilities for application for the two schemes to the participants in the meeting, and also presented the progress of the Program’s implementation.

Over 40 participants took part in the Information Day, amongst whom municipality mayors and deputy-mayors, deputy or assistant rectors of universities and representatives of the regional media.
