Deputy Minister Milena Paunova opened a conference on “Applying the Construction Products Directive”

Deputy Minister Milena Paunova opened today an information conference on applying the Construction Products Directive, co-organised by the European Commission and the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works. A basic priority until the accession of our country to the EU is the elimination of the technical barriers and the free traffic of the construction products round the country and in the unified European market in future, noted in her speech Deputy Minister Paunova. The Construction Products Directive (89/106/ЕЕС) has fundamental role for the unification of the technical regulations in the field of construction as well as for the enhancement of the compatibility in the construction industry. In conclusion Deputy Minister Milena Paunova underlined that the first and the most important steps have been made not only in the harmonization of our legislation with the European one but also in its application.
