Government approved the conclusion and amendment of financial assistance contracts up to 10% above the OPRG 2014-2020 budget

The Government gave its consent to the Managing Authority of the Operational Programme “Regions in Growth” 2014-2020 to conclude and or amend contracts for the provision of grants up to 10% above the programme’s budget. The funds will be made available from the unspent OPRG financial resources in the process of contracting and contract implementation.

This will ensure that the funds to be released are renegotiated in a timely manner and reduce the risk of losing unused money under the programme. In addition, it will ensure an increase in the value of construction contracts signed, the implementation of which is difficult and questionable for many beneficiaries due to the increase in construction materials and the economic crisis.

The contracting, monitoring, verification and certification of expenditure and the payment of contractual assistance will continue to be carried out in accordance with the rules, conditions and controls laid down in the programme.
