Minister Plevneliev will bestow the prize “Which is the best city to live in in Bulgaria?” 2009

Tomorrow, 27th October 2009, at 11h in the press conference hall at the Central Sofia Market Hall, the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Rosen Plevneliev will bestow the prize “Which is the best city to live in  Bulgaria?” for 2009.

“Which is the best city to live in Bulgaria?” is the greatest research of this kind in the whole country, focusing on the quality of life in 40 of the biggest cities. For a third year in a row, the research id organized on the initiative of “Darik’ Radio and “24 Hours” Newspaper Edition, and is realized together with the information web-site Darik News.bg.

Reporters from both media defined the best location for living in the country. Each one of the cities was evaluated according to more than 40 criteria. For 2007 and 2008 the best city to live in was Varna.
At the press conference the winners in 4 more categories will be announced: The Green City of Bulgaria, The Cultural City of Bulgaria, The Beautiful City of Bulgaria, The Business City of Bulgaria.
