Minister Plevneliev will open a round-table discussion “For a better LTP”

The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Rosen Plevneliev will open a national round-table discussion “For a better LTP” (Law for Territory Planning). The Deputy Minster Ekaterina Zaharieva will also take part in the round-table talks. The discussion, organized by the National Center for Territorial Development, will take place on the 12th October, Monday, at 9.00h, in the Center’s building in 16-20 Alabin Str.
The following questions will be put the round-table: what and how should the LTP be changed whether or not should it be united with the Law of Regional Development to what extent do the texts in it defend the national interests is it necessary to have a National Complex Planning Scheme what is the role of the major participants in the territorial planning and investment design work, etc. The questions are united into three topics – for a better territorial planning, for a better investment design work and construction, and for a better management and administrative services.
It is expected that the incoming suggestions from the participants in the discussion would be united in a plan for improving the normative basis.
Architects, engineers, urbanists, representatives of the Bulgarian Industrial Association and the National Association of Municipalities in the Republic of Bulgaria will take part in the round-table talks.
