The Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Rosen Plevneliev and the Deputy Minster Liliana Pavlova will take part in the sixth annual meeting of the Bulgarian local authorities. The forum meeting will take place from the 8th to the 10th October, 2009 in Sandanski.
Minister Plevneliev will present the new directions for partnership in the relations with the municipalities, and Deputy Minster Pavlova will present the forthcoming Operational Program “Regional Development” 2007-2013. Their participation in the plenary session is on topic “European Funds absorption - the Bulgarian experience and the European assessment”.
The annual meeting of the local authorities is organized on the occasion of the Day of the Bulgarian Municipality – the 12th October, and is concentrating on the discussion of ideas about the future municipality reforms with Ministers and Members of Parliament.
