A total of 336 are the construction sites checked by the Directorate for National Construction Supervision (DNCS) in the last trimester of 2005. The inspections have been carried out under the implementation of an order of the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works for stronger control over the construction supervision bodies. The construction sites checked are from first to fourth category on the whole territory of the country. The largest number belongs to the residential and public buildings. 18 offences have been established from the checked 160 companies performing construction supervision. The largest number are the offenders carrying out construction supervision in the Black sea coast region. The fines imposed for offences of the Law of the Spatial Planning (LSP) are under the Law for the Administrative Offences and Sanctions and have been levied on physical bodies working in the companies. As a result of the checks carried out during the whole 2005 a proposal has been made to the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works for pro-term suspension of the license of “Investitorski control” EOOD. The motives are based on fines and sanctions imposed more than three times for one year. The proposal is in accordance with LSP and the relevant Ordinances and secondary legislations related to it. For offences on LSP and its secondary legislations regarding its implementation since the beginning of 2004 until now have been issued a total of 102 decrees for sanctions through which have been imposed fines on physical bodies from 68 supervision companies.
