Second visit of the European Commissioner of Regional Politics Pavel Samecki

Today, 25th November 2009, the second visit of the European Commissioner of Regional Politics Pavel Samecki has begun. On his last visit Commissioner Samecki expressed his willingness to be informed in details about the implementation of The European funds in the South-East and North-East Bulgarian regions. At the time of his visit in the regions of Burgas and Varna, the commissioner and the European commission delegation will be accompanied by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Work Rosen Plevneliev and the Deputy-Minister Lilqna Pavlova, acting as Head of OP “Regional Development”. The Minister of Environment and Water Nona Karadjova and Juliana Nikolova, acting as concillor  of the Prime Minister and Secretary of the Council  of Management of EU Funds.

Tomorrow,26th  November ,Thursday at 10.30 am., Minister Plevneliev and the representatives of the European Commission are participating a press conference in Burgas (Audience chamber  “Tarjestvena”).There ,along with the representatives of the local and municipal authorities they will  present the projects ,they have been working on  at the territory of Burgas.The program of the Euro Commissioner Semecki includes a visit of  the Purifying Station in the district of Meden Rudnik  and a visitation at the Primary school and kinder garden “St.st. Cyril and Methodius” –Burgas. The purpose of the call is an infrastructural project concerning the field of education, and financed by OP”Regional Development”. Later that day the members of the delegation will participate into turning the first sod of VIK equipment in Dolno Ezerovo/ a project in OP “Environment”/. Finally they will attend a visit, connected with the rehabilitation of the road system in Burgas mineral public baths-Binevo –Izvorite.

27th November, Friday, Varna
As a start the delegation will attend a meeting, concerning a project ,financed by OP “Competition”- “Vitalii and Son”(head of the firm Iglika Manova).
Secondly they will pay a visit  a trade firm “Bella Trade” Ltd.
Finally the delegation will be a guest of a school and kinder garden in Ignatovo village. That is planed by OP”Regional Development”.
