The collection of project proposals under the second Call under the Bulgaria-Romania Cross-border Co-operation

With a Decision from the 21st October 2009 of the Joint Steering Committee, the collection of project proposals under the second Call under the Bulgaria-Romania Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013 has been stopped.
The total cost of all the over 300 project proposals exceeds the budget, foreseen in the Call.
According to preliminary calculations of the Managing Authority, the sum of the second Call for project proposals has been exceeded with 279 %.
For it 101 464 403 EUR was foreseen.
The Call was announced on the 1st October 2008 and the project proposals had to be collected by the end of each trimester.
The Joint Steering Committee expressed their gratitude for the interest shown in the collected proposals.
