The MRDPW governing body to meet the Regional Governors

The Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works organizes a working meeting with the Regional Governors from all regions. The meeting will be opened by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Asen Gagauzov on 20 January 2006 in Plovdiv. The objective of the initiative is the creation of a flexible mechanism for coordinated pursuing of the regional policy on national and local level. During the meeting will be discussed actual issues related to the role of the Regional Governor and the district administrations in the pursuance of the regional policy, the Regional Governors potentiaries and powers related to the enforcement of the Law of the Spatial Planning as well as the new moments in the expropriation procedures. The Deputy Ministers Iskra Mihaylova, Savin Kovachev and Kalin Rogachev will introduce the priorities in their fields. Public Relations and International Activities Directorate
