The MRDPW Management is checking 500 delayed correspondences

The MRDPW Management ordered to “Concessions” Directorate with the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works / MRDPW/ a detailed review of over 500 correspondences about delayed permits of seeking and/or exploration of underground riches (ores and minerals) and concessions.

Up to this moment, letters to 150 applicants have been sent, enquiring whether they are still claiming the applications in question they have also been informed about the processing of the correspondences. Due to the large number of correspondences that are not concluded yet, and in order to speed up the process, MRDPW is urging the applicants of delayed permits of seeking and/or exploration of building construction and rock-lining materials, and of applications for concessions for the period 2001 – 2008, to confirm whether they are still claiming their applications. This last requirement is introduced in order to protect the rights of the applicants who must themselves decide whether their interest in continuing the procedures is still valid, or not.

The confirmation must be executed by a person of representative authority, having a trade registration, and it must contain the incoming reference number of the application in the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works, a current contact address, telephone number and fax number.
