The submission of proposals for financing the projects for mending the flood damages to start within a month

Over 12 MEUR will be used for mending the flood damages in 187 municipalities. A mandatory condition is that the municipality applying for funding on a project under the grant scheme for mending the flood damages to have submitted protocols for caused damages to the Commission for Disaster Management to the Council of Ministers. The free aid for the separate municipality projects will be between 66 000 and 400 000 EUR. The municipalities will not be obliged to look for co-financing on the projects. The preferential conditions are related with the heavy state of the municipalities harmed by the floods in 2005. Phare Agency to MRDPW will start within a month the selection of proposals from the regions harmed by the floods for repairing the flood damages.
